Premier Pits have been a pleasure to work with. No request has been too much trouble, even when asked to go above and beyond. They have shown a high degree of professionalism both on-site and behind the scene. Everything has been completed on time, to a high standard and they have communicated effectively throughout the project. They even managed to move dates to suit our schedule and ensure that we could handover the site on time. We will definitely be using Premier Pits on our future projects, in fact, we’ve already got them booked in for the next project!

I would like to take this opportunity to make you aware that the process of installing our MOT pit at Motus Truck and Van Welham Green site was brilliant from Premier Pits. The support and help from one certain individual, Jon Woodhead, in your team was outstanding.   Jon did not stop answering calls from me about the site, the pit, the MOT set up process, the equipment -  he was there for us every step of the way,  including  on site when we had inspections from DVSA . Not to mention the last minute change to the pit so it could take turn plates for the class 4/5/7 testing, that he had cut in and welded a day before the concreate pour.   His knowledge and experience in the whole set up was spot on.  I would recommend your business off the back of this support.

Good afternoon, Just wanted to say that I am very pleased with the pit now it is completed. The lads were very hard working, gave us minimal disruption & got along with everyone very well. I know we had a couple of problems along the way but they worked around them. They left the site extremely tidy when they left ready for us to put everything back in it’s place. I did thank them for doing a good job but please pass this onto them.

Just wanted to drop you a line with some feedback on the pit we have had fitted this week. Mick and Darrel are without exception some of the best contractors I have ever had the pleasure to meet, they have made what often is a nightmare for managers, a walk in the park. From the moment they turned up, every part of the process has been totally professional, their work ethos attitude to safety and can do attitude is second to none, they have kept me informed at every stage of the process, been polite, courteous as well as having a fantastic rapport with my team, they have followed any instructions without question, I could go on and on. It’s fantastic not to have to worry about what is happening the other side of your door because you feel so at ease with a contractor, they are both a credit to you and your business, if you have an employee of the month scheme then without a doubt, they should definitely win, please pass on my thanks to the both of them.

I would like yet again to thank you all and your company for another first class install job at our GHS facility in Liverpool. The 2 men, Mick and Daryl have really excelled in what has been, to say the least, a difficult site install.  It will be our company's intention to use Premier Pits on all our future work and will yet again recommend your company to our BTAC members and my colleagues in the industry.

Premier Pits have recently installed a pit at our Milton Keynes depot and a galvanised wash ramp at our Crick depot, with another potential ramp for Northampton in the pipeline.  I have found the installs of the ramps and pit to run very smoothly and the finished products are a welcome addition to our workshops.

When Cartwright Fleet Services decided to convert a Victorian workshop into an Authorised Test Facility we had only perceived ideas on how challenging the task would be: aside from excavating around a hundred tonnes of concrete, we had to consider equipment specification, its procurement and installation, and, not least, an exacting raft of qualifying criteria courtesy of The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. As the enormity of the task loomed, we were left pondering where, and how exactly, to get things started. Cue Premier Pits – and their frontman Jonathan Woodhead. We’d heard good things about them so got in touch. And a good job too! They took charge of the project from start to finish with a professionalism that instilled confidence. What impressed most was the way in which Jonathan and his team exceeded their remit in order to overcome some difficult and unforeseeable problems along the way. We’re proud of our finished ATF and it’s all down to the quality of the work carried out by Premier Pits. It was signed off by DVSA with minimum fuss. Not surprisingly Cartwright Fleet Services have more work in the pipeline for Premier Pits. Would we recommend them? Of course we would!

I would like to pass on my compliments to all of your staff who have been involved with the pit install at our Bromborough workshops.  The installation team of Mick Sharples and Daryl Sykes have completed an absolutely fabulous job.  They have been two of the most helpful contractors we have ever employed, nothing was too much trouble to them.  The pit went in like a dream and it was on time and on budget which is a pretty rare thing nowadays.

We have just taken delivery of a class 4 ATL testing pit and are delighted with the very modern image that Premier Pits have given the workshop. We were extremely impressed with the installation team, they worked in a professional manor throughout. The attention to detail was first class from beginning to end. Whilst writing, I'd like to take the opportunity to ask you to pass onto Mel our impression of the team you sent (Paul and Justin) and the job done here this week.  They have made a first class job of the installation of the pit and have left the site tidy and presentable today. They overcame ground conditions with cheerful ingenuity and with the assistance of some brute force without complaint and all was well. They could not have been more helpful or conscientious throughout the week and are without doubt a credit to the firm.  I'd be obliged if you could pass on our thanks and those of the client to them in person. Of course it is too early to comment on the performance of the pit but I do not anticipate any problems if it performs as well and efficiently as the guys who installed it, we shall have no problems whatsoever.

I would just like to say how pleased I was and the customer is with the installation of the 15 metre pit and brake tester foundation frame.  I attended site twice during the week of installation and had several discussions with Stuart and Mick, the installation team.  The manor in which they conducted themselves and the long hours and work they put in is to be commended. The customer was amazed at the speed the pit installation and foundation frame progressed, there was no disruption to the surrounding works and when installation was completed Stuart and Mick touched up the paintwork as necessary and tidied up the surrounding area. I have no hesitation in recommending your products and installations for future products.

I would just like to let you know of the wonderful job done by Paul and Pete on site this week, they are a credit to your company. If at all possible, we would like to request the same installation team for the next two pits.

Over the last nine years Premier Pits have been the primary supplier of steel inspection pits to both Scania (Great Britain) Ltd and its independent dealer network.  Some 85 pits have been installed in Scania (Great Britain) Ltd's captive workshops and we have been consistently impressed by the quality of the product and level of service.  All installations have been carried out on a turn-key basis and the professionalism of Premier Pits during the process - and in co-operating with other contractors - is second to none. The company has also looked to make product improvements wherever possible; a good example can be found at the recently acquired SGB premises near Oxford, where a specially built wide-bodied pit was installed including the provision of safety lights and a stainless steel shelf.

May I take this opportunity of thanking you for completing, within agreed timescales, the Brake Roller Tester. I was most impressed by the standards of the work and the seamless transition of other contractors (skips, concrete, excavator etc) involved with the task. To have the site left in a state of cleanliness was much appreciated as was the regard to H&S (installation of guards and safety tape) during and on completion of job.

We in First Eastern Counties Buses Ltd, found Premier Pits to be a professional organisation who deliver services in support to servicing engineering industries be it in the private or public sectors. The level of commitment was second to none, delivering throughout the installation project of three pits at the Great Yarmouth depot, they project managed the whole operation from start to finish and delivered ahead of schedule even against physical problems that could not have been forseen. Their delivery was of a very high standard, keeping everyone informed at the depot on a daily basis and they were excellent in coming forward to reduce disruption attributed to the installation process. The installation team were people of high calibre and professional in their delivery.  This was supported by regular visits by the project manager of Premier Pits.  He supported this by further communication in the use of telephone calls and e-mails ensuring everyone was kept fully updated. I can only commend the standards delivered and the professional approach in how Premier Pits conducted their delivery to the project.

Just a quick email to thank you for the new pit and to let you know that the whole job from start to finish was very impressive. Pete and Paul did not stop working until the job was done. We have recommended Premier Pits to a few other companies who have been to look at the pit. A pleasure to deal with.

I would just like to say that the pit looks great, a very high standard of engineering has gone into the whole set up. Paul and Mickey, well what can i say, I have worked at Vauxhall Motors and Bridgewater College as well as managing Vauxhall dealers in England and Wales so it would be safe to say I have employed many men in my time, your men are far the best working. They are clean, tidy, polite, VERY professional, kept me informed and provided support.  These two men and the others which helped are not only a credit to your company and product but just proves that in this country of failing standards, there are still excellent levels of craftsmanship and service.

Having just had a pit installed, a class 4 ATL test lane by your company, I would just like to thank you for the professionalism of your team leader, Paul North.
