Safety

Motorised Safety Cover

The Premier Motorised cover is a roller shutter fall restraint with electric single phase soft start, controlled by a simple push button. The cover is made up of aluminium slats with stainless steel rods, and front bar emergency stop.

Budget Safety Cover

A manual pull fall restraint made from perforated yellow mesh. This option is not for walking on, however offers safe and cost effective fall prevention.

Safety Handrails

Permanent ball type handrails for bay separation, or to guard tunnel access areas.

Retractable Safety Barrier

Retractable drum with red & white flags posts (fitting not included). A very cost effective and highly visible barrier. Available in 14m and 16m.

Skipper Barriers

The Skipper system of versatile kits are ideal for creating a safe working environment for both staff and visitors. Each Skipper unit houses a 9m length of barrier.

Accessories

Electrical sockets

110V flame proof electrical sock (Max 16A) Transformer supplied and fitted by others.

Step Up Platform

A 1m aluminium platform to suit the pit width, which sits on 50mm x 50mm rail 200mm above pit floor level. The platform slides along the rail, making the pit more versatile and allowing technicians to reach all areas of the underside of the vehicle.

Pit Bridge

Manufactured from aluminium and can be provided with or without handrails providing a safe crossing on any pit.

Full or Half Width Steps

All steps are manufactured with anti-slip Elefant Treads. Half width steps can allow for storage area.

Premier Jack

20 Tonne Pit Jack, air operated with twin rams. This jack comes with a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty.

Pit Variations

Equipment Recess

A handy storage area fitted with Unistrut for attaching grease reels and other equipment. This option comes in 1.0m, 1.5m or 2m lengths, all at 0.8m deep and 1.15m high.

Tunnels

Side Entry and Exit Tunnel

A side entry/exit tunnel with full width steps is required for DVSA ATF pits.

Exit Tunnel

An exit tunnel is also required for DVSA ATF pits. Exit via a ladder.

Connecting Tunnel

Suitable for multiple pit installations and gives ease of access on one level.

Fume Extraction Manifolds

For use when maintaining petrol and gas powered vehicles over the pit, and where there is possible solvent accumulation. Our Fume Extraction Manifold will satisfy H&S requirements for air movement below the finished floor level.

*Extraction system supplied separately by others.

Brake Tester Sumps

Free Standing Brake Tester Sump

Manufactured to suit any equipment manufacturer, with 5m of service ducts to pit included. Also available in a split bed brake tester layout, as well as optional load simulation.

Sumps for Shaker Plates can also be supplied.

Lighting

Zone 1 and Zone 2 LED Lights

High quality, long life LED lighting saves up to 50% energy compared to standard pit lights, made of impact-proof polycarbonate with spring clips in an Aluzinc casing.

Zone 2 – Category 3, 1500mm long

Zone 1 – Category 2, 1200mm long

Flooring

Chequer Plate

Chequer plate flooring included as standard, with black floor paint

GRP Grid Flooring

Anti-slip GRP flooring is available in Yellow, Green or Grey. This flooring is useful in pits that require a drainage floor.

Rubber Fatigue Matting

Provides a cushioned, slip-resistant surface that is easily removed for cleaning and washing. It helps protect floor paint from damage caused by dropped tools while also reducing fatigue by providing added comfort and support underfoot for technicians.
