Working/Maintenance Pits
The Premier Pits working units are the hub of most workshops enabling the user to carry out maintenance on a wide range of commercial vehicles. Although all pits are built around a standard basic format they can be tailored to suit individual customer needs.
Inspection Pits
Premier Pits' Inspection Pits are for very quick weekly or monthly checks, primarily on buses, however, this test could apply to any vehicle.
Special Pits
This type of Pit is for working on specialist vehicles such as airport tow tugs, extra large forklifts or cranes.
Washdown Pits
Premier Pits' Washdown Pits are designed for washing vehicle undercarriages and the insides of trailers. With a Premier Pits’ Washdown Pit both these operations can be undertaken at the same time – making a significant contribution to improving workshop efficiency. Fitting an automatic chassis wash will further enhance efficiency.
VOSA/Inspection Pits
The Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) provides a range of licensing, testing and enforcement services with the aim of improving the roadworthiness standards of vehicles ensuring the compliance of operators and drivers with road traffic legislation, and supporting the independent Traffic Commissioners.
Supporting this work the Agency has 100 test stations spread across the UK. Each of these will have at least one specially developed test pit.
Premier Pits are able to manufacture and install these pits to the Agency's very exacting standards. Additionally, Premier Pits can supply and fit all Pre-VOSA test pits for use by operators.
